Julia Jacklin Postpones Liverpool Concert Due to Illness

Australian singer Julia Jacklin has postponed her scheduled performance at Jacaranda Baltic in Liverpool tonight due to illness. The indie pop and alternative country star, known for hits like "Pressure to Party" and "Don't Know How to Keep Loving You," issued a statement saying she is "real sick and can't sing."

Show Postponed at Last Minute

The concert was set to take place on July 2 at the Baltic Triangle venue. Jacaranda Baltic confirmed the postponement along with an apology from Jacklin. The venue stated: "We are really sorry to say tonight's show with Julia Jacklin at Jacaranda Baltic has been postponed due to illness."

Jacklin also apologized directly, saying: "I'm sorry but I have to postpone tonight and tomorrow's instore at Jacaranda (Liverpool) and Rough Trade (Nottingham). I'm real sick and can't sing and don't want to spread anything around. We are working hard to find new dates and will reach out to ticket buyers in the next couple of weeks with more information. The Pretty Reckless Adds Second Show

In other news, rock band The Pretty Reckless has announced a second Liverpool show after the first date sold out. The additional performance will take place on the same day, November 28, at 8pm at Jacaranda Baltic. The band, formed in New York City in 2009 and fronted by Taylor Momsen, is known for hits like "Heaven Knows" and "Death by Rock and Roll."

Jacaranda Records said: "Due to phenomenal demand we’ve squeezed in a second show with The Pretty Reckless. This will sell out quick again!" Tickets start from £21, including a CD, cassette, or vinyl and access to the show. The accessibility ticket and CD offer is completely sold out, but other options remain available online.
