Jane Goldman, the 39-year-old screenwriter, turned heads at the London premiere of 'Kick-Ass' on Monday evening, showcasing her slimmed-down figure in a low-cut polka-dot gown. Her husband, Jonathan Ross, 49, opted for a casual look in a dark jacket and loose-fitting slacks.
The event was also marked by a surprise appearance from Hollywood star Brad Pitt, 46, who sported a beard. Pitt's company, Plan B, co-produced the controversial film, which has been accused of blurring the line between adult and child entertainment.
Based on a US comic-book series, 'Kick-Ass' is tagged with the slogan 'Sickening violence: Just the way you like it'. It stars 13-year-old American schoolgirl Chloe Moretz as a merciless assassin who wields knives and swears profusely.
Goldman, known for her work on films such as 'Kick-Ass' and 'X-Men: First Class', has been the subject of recent speculation regarding her weight loss, which was evident at the premiere.
