Plot and Cast
Set in 1800s England, the film follows a young woman who helps her friend seek revenge against a suitor who rejected her for failing to meet his checklist of bridal requirements. When eligible bachelor Jeremy Malcolm refuses Julia Thistlewaite, she enlists her friend Selina Dalton to orchestrate a scheme that leads Jeremy to question whether he has found true love or is being deceived.
