When Robert is knocked unconscious by a runaway farm trailer, Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, grows deeply suspicious that Serena just happened to be present at the scene. He puts forward his theory to Robert, and together with Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, they agree to watch her closely. As he and Chas dig deeper for answers, a secret discovered on Serena's stolen phone threatens to blow the whole thing wide open. Robert confronts a desperate Serena with evidence that she has been lying. What is she concealing from them, and will they ever be able to forgive her deceit?
