EastEnders Spoilers: Bea Framed Billy, Honey Kidnapped

EastEnders aired a shocking twist on Thursday, July 2, 2026, as Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) framed Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) for her murder. Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) finally realized her best friend's true intentions after uncovering information about Bea's past.

Bea's Sinister Plan Unravels

Earlier in the week, Bea moved back in with Honey after a scheme that made Honey believe Billy was having an affair. Despite Billy and Will Mitchell (Freddie Phillips) digging for evidence, Honey took Bea's side until a strange cleansing ritual made her question their friendship. When Honey saw Billy's supposed dating profile, she recognized the writing style as Bea's, not Billy's.

Ruth's Revelation

Billy contacted Bea's old landlord and found a woman named Ruth who knew Bea. Honey and Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) met Ruth, who revealed she and Bea were best friends until Bea tried to break up her marriage, pushed her husband down stairs, set fire to Ruth's house, and killed her dog in the blaze.

Dramatic Showdown

As Bea discovered Honey was meeting Ruth, she panicked. A confrontation with Billy led to glass injuring Bea's hand. After Billy left to call the police, Bea smashed the house, smeared cranberry sauce to look like blood, and phoned police claiming Billy tried to kill her. Honey and Nicola returned to find the house in chaos and police searching for Billy.

Honey's Kidnapping

EastEnders spoilers for next week reveal Nicola and Honey secretly meet Billy, but Honey panics when a detective wants to see her. Determined to draw Bea out, Honey stages a vigil broadcast online. She spots a hooded watcher, chases Bea, and a struggle leaves Honey unconscious. Bea bundles her into a car, and Honey wakes trapped in a locked cottage where Bea insists they sort things out.

Search for Honey

As loved ones realize Honey is missing, Linda Carter tracks Honey's phone and finds it smashed in a bush. Billy fears the worst. Nicola, Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal), and Linda set off to find Honey, but it remains unclear if they will succeed in time.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer from 6am.
