DCC Season 2 Exits: Where Cheerleaders Are Now

Netflix's hit sports documentary America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is gearing up for its third season. The series follows veteran and rookie cheerleaders as they strive to support the NFL's most iconic team.

Under the leadership of senior director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell, the women of DCC endure grueling training, interpersonal drama, mental health struggles, and intense public scrutiny. While most find it rewarding, some veterans have stepped down due to pressures or scandals. Here are the major exits from season two and their current endeavors.

Chandi Dayle

Six-year veteran Chandi took a mental health break after a controversial team trip to the Bahamas, where she broke protocol by bringing an unknown man to her hotel room. She briefly returned but not in a leadership role and ultimately left DCC at the end of season two. Now going by Chandi McCright, she works as an assistant coach for the Arizona Pomline dance team at the University of Arizona, her alma mater.

KayDianna Garza

Four-year veteran KayDianna retired after being suspended for bullying and harassment following indirect comments about Chandi's departure on TikTok Live. She now runs her own dance mentorship company, KayDianna MacKenzie - Coaching & Choreography, and hosts a podcast called KayDianna's Korner, launched in May 2025.

Armani Latimer

Five-year veteran Armani made headlines by performing without a wig to reveal her alopecia diagnosis. She also advocated for equal pay. After retiring at the end of the 2024-25 season, she plans to attend law school and was a speaker at the 40th annual National Alopecia Areata Foundation conference. As of June 2025, she intends to take the LSAT but remains open to other opportunities.

Jada Mclean

Five-year veteran Jada retired as planned, having always intended to step down after five seasons. She was also a key advocate for fair pay. She has left the door open to return as an All-Star performer. Currently, she enjoys travel, attended a friend's wedding and her parents' anniversary party, and is pursuing modeling and influencer partnerships.

Amanda Howard

Three-year veteran Amanda left after feeling underappreciated despite winning Rookie of the Year. She experienced friction with directors Kelli and Judy, feeling overlooked in season two. She now works full-time as a social media influencer focusing on fashion, lifestyle, Christianity, and fitness.

America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 3 premieres Tuesday, June 16 on Netflix.
