Brooklyn Beckham has returned to the kitchen, sharing a video of himself preparing a beef Wellington that drew praise from fans and a notable family member. The 26-year-old aspiring chef posted a step-by-step tutorial on Instagram on Tuesday, showing the process of seasoning and searing fillet beef, layering it with mushrooms, prosciutto, and spinach, and wrapping it in pastry. The final result, with a golden-brown crust and perfectly pink centre, was met with comments calling the dish “absolutely incredible.”
Among the admirers was Jackie Adams, Victoria Beckham’s mother, who wrote: “That looks amazing Brooklyn. Lots of love xx.” The comment comes days after both David and Victoria Beckham liked Brooklyn’s recent video making buttermilk pancakes, a gesture many interpret as a quiet olive branch amid ongoing reports of tension between the Beckhams and their eldest son.
Rumours of a family rift have persisted since Brooklyn married actress Nicola Peltz in 2022. The couple’s absence from several Beckham family events, including Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show, the premiere of her Netflix documentary, and David’s 50th birthday, fuelled speculation of distance. However, recent social media engagement from the Beckham parents suggests a thawing of relations may be underway.
Victoria Beckham, 51, recently commented on the rumoured feud during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s radio show on Sirius XM. When asked if she got along with other WAGs early in her career, she said: “I did. I’m a girl's girl. I mean you've got to be a real a*****e for me to not get on with you if you're a woman.” She added that she loves women and aims to empower them through her fashion and beauty work.
Despite the reported tensions, both David and Victoria have continued to publicly support Brooklyn’s culinary ambitions, often liking or sharing his cooking posts. The family dynamics remain a topic of public interest, but the recent interactions hint at a possible reconciliation.
