Brandi Glanville hospitalised after head and neck become immobile

Real Housewives star Brandi Glanville was rushed to hospital earlier this week after her head and neck became immobile for four hours. The 52-year-old told followers on X that she called 911 and was taken by ambulance, later sharing a picture of an IV in her arm and her hospital bill.

Glanville has been battling an unexplained health condition that has caused facial disfigurement, including lumps and swelling. She revealed that doctors at Cedars-Sinai had previously prescribed IV antibiotics and fungal medication, which improved her condition, but she could not afford to continue the treatment.

Last year, Glanville disclosed she had spent $70,000 on medical tests trying to diagnose the issue, with initial suspicions pointing to a parasite. Doctor Terry Dubrow of Botched performed biopsies and suggested the cause might be an infectious process or a reaction to injected substances, involving a microorganism and fungus requiring long-term antibiotics.

Despite the diagnosis, Glanville’s condition has worsened. In March, she said her face was “worse than ever,” with painful lumps and acidic drainage affecting her teeth. She described feeling “miserable” and said her face had “literally melted away.”

After being discharged from hospital on Thursday, Glanville announced she would go live on Instagram to discuss her eBay shop with her future daughter-in-law.
