Ben Shephard's Tipping Point Renewed for New Series on ITV

The future of Ben Shephard's hit ITV series Tipping Point has reportedly been confirmed, bringing good news for fans. The game show, which Ben has hosted for over a decade, has been renewed for further series, according to TVZone.

Ben Shephard to Return for New Episodes

Ben is set to return to the studio later this year to record new episodes of the popular programme. A post on the show's website indicated that producers are currently on the lookout for contestants for upcoming instalments. The show features hopefuls answering trivia questions to earn plastic counters, which they then drop into arcade-style coin pusher machines in hopes of winning big prizes.

"If you fancy taking on TV's most talked about machine, we'd love to hear from you," the message read. "Closing date for applications is midnight on Friday 21st August 2026 (but auditions will start soon so please don't delay)." ITV has been contacted for comment.

History of Tipping Point

Ben has been hosting the game show since 2012, and he also fronts celebrity episodes on Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, which began a year later in 2013. There have been several special instalments of the quiz show, including festive and Soccer Aid episodes, as well as a spin-off called Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals, which compiles standout moments from the series.

Ben has previously expressed admiration for the contestants, telling the Mirror: "These people are under pressure in an environment and their minds go blank and they can't think of anything and the words don't make sense. And I just have so much admiration for all of them." He added: "There have been some amazing answers but to be fair to all those people that come in, they are incredibly brave to take on the machine."

Ben Shephard's Other ITV Show

Ben's other major ITV show is This Morning, where he started as a guest presenter in 2005. In 2024, the 51-year-old became one of the programme's main hosts, now fronting the daytime show several days a week alongside Cat Deeley. Tipping Point airs on ITV.
