Bec Judd's 15-Year Anniversary Tribute to Chris Judd

Bec Judd has publicly celebrated a significant marital milestone, posting a deeply affectionate tribute to her husband, former AFL superstar Chris Judd, to mark their 15th wedding anniversary.

A Decade-and-a-Half of Love and Family

The 42-year-old television presenter and model took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a carousel of intimate photographs that chronicle the couple's remarkable 22-year romance. The collection featured loved-up snaps of the pair alongside heartwarming images of Chris doting on their four children: Oscar, 14, Billie, 11, and nine-year-old twins Tom and Darcy.

Bec included nostalgic shots from their past, including a picture from their New Year's Eve wedding in 2010. In a candid caption accompanying the post, she wrote, '15 years married today and 22 years with you.' She humorously acknowledged her husband's preference for privacy, adding, 'I've got so much more to say about my King of Kings but he's not big on PDAs so I will tell him to his face when I am kissing it.'

Throwbacks to Triumph and Terror

Further commemorating the occasion on her Instagram Stories, Bec revisited one of Chris's greatest professional achievements. She shared an image from 2006, showing her congratulating an exhausted Chris just after he led the West Coast Eagles to a nail-biting AFL Grand Final victory.

Reflecting on the scarcity of early photos, she explained, 'We didn't have iPhones back then.' Describing the tense match, she recalled, 'The game was absolute torture. Chris popped his shoulder out in the third quarter and couldn't tackle after that.' She noted the win was by a single point, following a loss the previous year, making it a moment of 'pure relief'.

A Skydiving Date That Almost Ended in Tragedy

The anniversary celebrations come after Bec recently revealed a harrowing incident that nearly cut their relationship short. Speaking on a radio show in August, she recounted a secret skydiving date in Perth early in their courtship that went catastrophically wrong.

While Chris's jump proceeded smoothly, Bec's parachute malfunctioned. 'My tandem guy pulled the parachute - the parachute opened and tore off. It ripped off and went flying through the sky, and we started falling to the ground again,' she described. Watching from below, Chris was told by his instructor, 'Oh, there goes your friend,' with the added grim prognosis, 'This is where it ends.'

Thankfully, her skydiving partner's emergency actions saved their lives, but the experience remains a stark reminder of how their love story nearly ended before it truly began.

The anniversary post was flooded with warm wishes from friends and followers. Former WAG Nadia Bartel called them 'relationship goals', fitness expert Michelle Bridges reacted with applause emojis, and comedian Dave Hughes hailed them as a 'legend couple'. The outpouring of support underscores the couple's beloved status, celebrating not just a sporting legacy but a lasting partnership that has endured both public scrutiny and private peril.
