BBC Confirms Final Series of Award-Winning Comedy Thriller

The BBC has confirmed that filming is now underway on the third and final series of the award-winning comedy thriller Am I Being Unreasonable?. The show, which has been described as 'jaw-droppingly good' and 'the perfect 10/10' by fans, centres on a grieving, unhappily married mother living in a small village who is hiding a dark secret.

Cast and Crew Return for Final Series

Written by Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli, both of whom will reprise their roles, the series also sees the return of Lenny Rush, who won a BAFTA for his portrayal of Ollie, and Dustin Demri-Burns as Dan. The programme has claimed three Royal Television Society Programme Awards and was named 2025 Best TV Comedy Drama by the British Comedy Guide.

The new series will air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One later this year, shot across Bristol, Gloucestershire and the wider West Country. It will pick up directly from where the previous instalment left off.

Plot Teases and Guest Stars

The official synopsis teases: 'Is Nic's confession finally out there? What exactly did Jen do to Mrs Baggot? Has Dan put a bun in the wrong oven? Did Ollie make Suzie go away? In this murky morality tale, everyone is forced to confront their messy realities once and for all.' It adds: 'We're never sure who knows what in this brilliantly complex series, but amongst the increasingly tangled web of lies and blurred boundaries, are hilarious set-pieces from the colourful comic characters who live in the village of Copbury.'

The final series will feature guest stars including Joe Wilkinson, Allan Mustafa, and James Gault, with Tom Davies reprising his role as the unhinged cab driver.
