Amanda Owen Says 'Things Are Good' After Our Yorkshire Farm Split
Amanda Owen: 'Things Are Good' After Split

Amanda Owen, star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has declared that 'things are good' following her separation from husband Clive Owen in 2022 after 22 years of marriage. The couple, who have nine children, have maintained a working relationship and continue to co-parent and run their farm together.

Continued Collaboration on Screen and Farm

Despite their personal split, the Owens appeared together in the 2024 Channel 4 series Our Farm Next Door, which documents their renovation of a dilapidated building in the Yorkshire Dales. The programme is set to air a repeat on Friday, June 26, at 8pm on Channel 4. In the series, Amanda emphasised that although they are 'separate,' they remain 'still husband and wife.'

Clive echoed this sentiment, stating: 'Me and Mandy, we have had a strange few years and we're now in a place where although we are not actually together, we are still in business together, we still have these kids together. It's a crazy situation but it isn't – it's the most sensible thing for everybody to do.'

Family and Future

The Owens married in 2000 and have nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy. Reuben now hosts his own show, Life in the Dales. In 2022, Amanda shared a statement on Instagram confirming their separation, writing: 'Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.'

Reflecting on their current dynamic, Amanda said: 'Things are good and I think being busy plays a huge part in keeping everybody's focus.'
