Celebrity Traitors winner Sebastian Croft has revealed he fainted during a challenge and required medical attention, a moment that was cut from the final edit of the show.
Croft, who won the series with comedian Romesh Ranganathan, shared the details on his podcast The Sunday Scaries with Bash Croft. He said medics intervened during a tense moment when he and Ross Kemp were digging their co-stars out of graves.
Medics step in during filming
The actor said: "Every time I was, like, exhausted it was like: 'Right, get into this!' Ross was locked in, being a superstar and really carrying the mission. Anyway, got to the end and felt really lightheaded and fainted."
He added: "Then I was sat there and there was the medic, giving me water and I was eating chocolate to get my blood sugar up."
Croft joked that the producers did him "a favour" by not including the moment in the final edit.
A distraction from suspicion
He also explained why co-star Michael Sheen never suspected him, saying: "I was sat with my drink and they were doing Big Mix/Little Mix, which is really funny."
"That starts making me laugh and I start feeling a bit better."
Croft said he pointed out an "in plain sight murder" to Sheen, noting: "That was because it was taking way longer than it normally does. I think that was why I didn’t get a lot of heat towards the end."
He added: "Michael was interrogating everyone, I don’t think he interrogated me as much because he was like: 'No Traitor would point out an in plain sight murder was happening'."
