Celebrity Traitors viewers believe they have worked out who will be the next famous face to leave the castle after spotting what they describe as an 'insane' hint. The BBC gameshow ended on a cliff-hanger last night (October 22) as Traitors Maya Jama, King Kenny and James Acaster plotted their next murder.
The trio had already carried out the silent murder of Ross Kemp in front of fellow Faithfuls, and the castle later bid farewell to Jerry Hall, who was eliminated during the roundtable vote. Soon after, the Traitors returned to the turret to plan their next move, identifying Sebastian Croft, Romesh Ranganathan and Miranda Hart as their three potential targets, with some contestants protected by barriers earned in a previous challenge.
Pen placement sparks theory
While audiences will not learn who has been eliminated until tonight's (October 23) episode, many have pointed to a subtle clue suggesting Miranda was the one removed. Moments before the last episode ended, Kenny was seen writing the name of the next murder victim, and supporters reckon the position of his pen on the parchment indicates he was about to write the letter 'M', meaning they chose Miranda over Sebastian (Bash) or Romesh.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer shared their theory: "Call me crazy but Miranda has to be the one they murder tonight due to Kenny's positioning with the pen + paper." The fan added that Kenny's pen appeared too low on the page to be writing either 'R' or 'B' but seemed in line with the first stroke of the letter 'M'.
Fans divided over theory
Although it may seem far-fetched, several viewers noticed the same detail. One TikTok user commented: "I said the exact same! i seen where he placed the pen and knew straight away too." Another agreed: "I thought the exact same thing, I just hope we're wrong," while a fourth remarked: "that's what I spotted too, don't want her to go."
However, other viewers have dismissed the theory, arguing that people have different handwriting styles. "I start all of them [letters M, B and R] from the bottom and go up," one viewer pointed out.
Celebrity Traitors continues tonight (October 23) at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
