Traitors fans predict Sharon exit after cliffhanger vote

Celebrity Traitors viewers believe they have worked out what happens next after Friday night's episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Sharon Rooney and Joanne McNally tied at four votes each at the roundtable.

The BBC series returned for another installment on October 23, and it was revealed early on that traitors James Acaster, Maya Jama and King Kenny decided to murder comedian Miranda Hart.

Miranda Hart's Reaction and the Challenge

Reacting to her fate, Miranda said: "No absolutely not, oh bottoms. I knew it. I'm so cross with myself. I was wholly focussed on my Joanne issues. Ultimately, in my little personal story this has been quite extraordinary, that I've been able to go back to do the things I love professionally and personally."

She added: "Like wandering a Scottish Highland, and being in nature laughing and connecting. There were times I didn't think that would be possible again."

Shortly after, the contestants took part in a challenge where they had to place money with the people they trusted most. Claudia teased that those chosen would have a secret power. Things took a turn when James Blunt claimed he trusted James A, Maya and Kenny the most, leading to a heated argument with Sharon Rooney, who refused to explain her disagreement despite being right.

The Dagger Decision and Roundtable Tensions

After the faithfuls left the challenge area, Maya asked if they had 'completed the game', and James A joked that 'you couldn't have written it'. Claudia then informed them they had to pick one of themselves to possess a dagger, granting a double vote at the roundtable.

Maya suggested James Blunt, but James A argued: "I think it has to be Kenny. If we were doing it as Traitors as secret we'd give it to James." Kenny expressed fears about the pressure, saying: "There's a lot of pressure for me to make that decision. There could potentially be a lot of eyes on me."

They ultimately gave Kenny the power, as they are seen as the 'most faithful'. James A noted that 'none of it comes back to us, they keep on doing it to themselves'.

At the roundtable, Sharon tried to explain her actions, but Michael Sheen highlighted that it made her look suspicious, to which Sharon replied she 'wasn't bothered'. Michael later faced suspicion from Heartstopper actor Sebastian Croft, who questioned why he would still be there if he hadn't been recruited. Michael pointed out he believed he would have been murdered if he didn't have a shield the night prior.

Joanne McNally also faced questions, with Miranda suspecting her as a traitor, though Joanne joked she wasn't the best at the game.

Cliffhanger Leaves Viewers Frustrated

When the vote came, both Sharon and Joanne received four votes each, forcing a second vote. Joanne admitted she 'made a few slip ups', while Sharon told the group to 'do what you want because it's a game'.

The episode ended abruptly before Kenny, who had two votes, revealed who he voted for. Fans rushed to X, formerly Twitter, to express frustration, with many pointing out that Kenny had already voted for Sharon.

@minchansflwr said: "kenny voted for Sharon before the revote so i'm assuming sharon will be gone next week #CelebrityTraitors." @neddthomas added: "Just knew they were going to make us wait until next Thursday to find out. Don't think Kenny changed his mind and he'll vote for Sharon #CelebrityTraitors."

@Ikra4SRK wrote: "Bloody hell, we know Kennys voting Sharon, why the suspense #CelebrityTraitors." @wayhaught95 posted: "Is that cliffhanger really necessary? It's a faithful going either way #CelebrityTraitors."

@Marinaverse2 commented: "Why would the do a cliffhanger there ?!? We have 2 episodes left with a faithful about to be banished and surely another murder after. Honestly, how are the faithful going to win this? #CelebrityTraitors." @ilysurvivor stated: "telling me I have to wait till Thursday to know who Kenny has banished i don't wanna wait another 6 days #celebritytraitors."
