The Voice UK 2026 final: air time, prize and winner reveal

The winner of The Voice UK 2026 will be revealed tonight during the final, which airs at 8.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Monique, Nanà, Frank and Cate will all take to the stage for the last time on Saturday (October 31), performing solo as well as duetting with their coaches Kelly Rowland, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones and Sir Tom Jones.

How the winner is decided

Because the entire series is pre-recorded, fans watching at home cannot vote by phone, app, or text to choose the winner, which has often sparked criticism from fans expecting a live interactive element.

The champion is instead determined solely by the studio audience present during the filming of the final, who then walks away with a Universal Music Group recording contract, a £50,000 cash prize and a luxury holiday.

It has been confirmed that MOBO and Brit Award-winning artist Ella Eyre will perform during the final, belting out her 2025 single Hell Yeah ahead of host Emma Willis revealing the name of the winner.

Coaches and host changes

The Voice UK 2026 final will mark host Emma and coaches Sir Tom, Tom and Danny's last episode, following the announcement that the four stars won't be back next year.

Emma has recently become the host of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe and will be replaced by Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon as they take the reins as hosts for Series 15.

The famous red chairs will see the arrival of two musical forces making their debut as coaches, as platinum-selling rap artist Aitch and global pop icon Cheryl begin their hunt for the nation's next vocal powerhouse. These new additions will take their places alongside Kelly, who returns for a second series as a coach, and long-standing The Voice UK legend will.i.am.

Statement and petition

ITV said in a statement: "We would like to thank the irreplaceable Sir Tom Jones for all his years on The Voice UK, and the countless incredible and unforgettable moments he gave the show. He has brought joy to audiences, and to every singer who performed for him and with him. We also thank Emma Willis, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones for their brilliant contributions, and who all brought so much dedication, expertise and energy to The Voice UK and wish them the very best of luck as they embark on their next chapters."

A petition to reinstate Sir Tom has attracted over 76,000 signatures since the Welsh singer announced that ITV offered him a "much-reduced role". In a social media post, he explained: "They are offering a much-reduced role where I would make an appearance but without being actually involved from the start, and I'm not thrilled about that. So the only thing I know right now is that there's never a good time to fire an 86-year-old who's still pretty good at his job."

A spokesperson for The Voice said: "We have loved working with Sir Tom Jones over the past nine years on The Voice UK. While he will no longer be a full-time coach on series 15, we continue to talk to Sir Tom and his team about his involvement in the next series."
