The BBC has confirmed that the season three finale of The Capture will air on Sunday, 12 April at 9pm on BBC One, with an extended runtime of 1 hour and 13 minutes. The episode will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am that morning.
The third series, which premiered on 8 March, follows Holliday Grainger's character Rachel Carey as she continues her battle against Correction, a deep fake technology. The cast includes Paapa Essiedu as Isaac Turner, Ginny Holder as DI Nadia Latif, and Ron Perlman as CIA agent Frank Napier, alongside returning actors Indira Varma, Ben Miles, and others.
New cast members this series include Killian Scott, Joe Dempsie, Andrew Buchan, Hugh Quarshie, Amanda Drew, Linus Roache, and Jonathan Aris. Unlike many BBC dramas, The Capture is not available for binge-watching on iPlayer, with episodes released weekly.
The official synopsis for the finale teases: "With Pierson deemed MIA, Carey finally gains full control of SO15 and immediately releases Whitlock, leaving Figgis with no choice but to act. The Correction Inquiry hears a shocking revelation from Sir Rowan Gill, thrusting Garland into the glare of the world's media."
