Tara Reid made a stunning appearance at the amfAR Gala, held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d'Antibes, France on Thursday. The 50-year-old actress, best known for her role in American Pie, donned a sheer white gown that exposed much of her torso, featuring kimono sleeves and a long flowing train. The event raised funds for lifesaving AIDS/HIV research.
Reid's Accessories and Style
The Hi Happy Films CEO accessorized with a hefty diamond necklace and strappy silver peep-toe heels. She rocked her signature kohl-rimmed eyes with a hint of shimmer and a platinum-blonde faux-ponytail that contrasted with her dark roots.
Event Highlights
The amfAR Gala was hosted by Geena Davis and featured live musical performances from Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson, and Pinkpantheress, as well as a DJ set by Honey Dijon. Reid has been attending events surrounding the Cannes International Film Festival since Saturday, including a bash at the Hermès boutique.
Reid's Recent Comments
Reid wrote on Instagram Tuesday, 'I'm feeling beautiful and happy at 50! I'm so happy and excited to be in Cannes for the film festival. This year is absolutely amazing!'
Previous Drugging Incident
Reid's public sighting came five months after she claimed she was drugged by a stranger on November 24 after having just one drink at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago O'Hare Airport in Rosemont, Illinois. She was rushed to Resurrection Medical Center, where she alleges they did not test her for any substances or her blood alcohol level. The ex-fiancée of Carson Daly called the incident 'truly heartbreaking' after the Rosemont Police Department closed their investigation on December 11 due to lack of evidence. Reid also claimed there were 33 minutes of CCTV footage missing, including moments she went out to smoke cigarettes.
'The camera also skips five seconds, to 30 seconds or more many times and are missing key information of events,' the New Jersey-born blonde exclusively told the Daily Mail on December 17. 'After reviewing the footage I only had consumed two glasses of wine the entire time since I got there over a 30-minute period before I went outside the second time and I came back in a completely different state of mind.'

The former soap star produced and starred as psychiatrist Dr. Quarantine in White Cross' pandemic psychological thriller Dr. Q, which was released on VOD on May 5. The 5ft 5in star has no less than nine upcoming projects, including her role as Keri-Ann in James J. Gutierrez's $1 million-budget comedy Mandate starring Jon Lovitz and Chris Kattan.
