Spice Girl Mel C is set to perform her song "Sweat" during the results show of Strictly Come Dancing, as the BBC competition revealed the songs and dances for week 5.
The appearance comes after a turbulent start to Strictly 2026, with viewers warming to new presenters Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe. The trio are still getting to grips with their roles after replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
Last Weekend's Elimination
Last weekend's Icons week saw Dame Sarah Storey become the third celebrity to be eliminated. The Manchester-born Paralympian, 48, was competing with Australian pro dancer Julian Caillon.
They failed to impress the judges with a tango to "That Don't Impress Me Much" by Shania Twain, placing at the bottom of the leaderboard with just 21 points out of 40 for their routine.
Following a heated dance-off with House Of The Dragon actress Bethany Antonia and her partner Nancy Xu, the judges decided to send Dame Sarah and Julian home. The remaining contestants will return to the ballroom on Saturday night (October 24).
Delta Goodrem's Return
After missing last week's show due to a rib injury, Australian singer Delta Goodrem will be back performing with her professional partner, Kai Widdrington. They'll be taking on the Rumba to "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine Dion.
A statement on Strictly's social media channels read earlier in the week: "Following her bye last week due to injury, we're delighted to confirm Delta has been given the all clear to dance again this weekend. She'll return to the #Strictly ballroom on Saturday night."
Mel C's Performance and Sunday's Show
A Strictly spokesperson revealed on Friday (October 23) that 'things get spicy' during the results show on Sunday night (October 25). The pros will be performing a fitness-based routine featuring high energy, treadmills and skipping ropes, dancing to Spacedust's "Gym and Tonic", Meghan Trainor's "Shimmer", and then Melanie C's "Sweat". In a big moment for Spice Girls fans, Sporty Spice Mel C will perform her song in the studio.
Sunday night's results show will also feature the UK television debut performance of Jamie Miller and Antonio Cipriano's "Babydoll". Jamie and Antonio will perform their viral dance alongside four of the Strictly pros.
