Dani Dyer has become the second favourite to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend at odds of 11/2, following the news that Jaime Winstone will miss Saturday's live show through injury. Bethany Antonia is now odds-on at 4/7 to be the next star voted off, after her price was cut from 5/4.
The BBC One dance contest returns with its live show on Saturday night (November 7) as its remaining couples take to the ballroom floor for week seven of the competition.
Week Seven Dances Revealed
Ahead of the live show, the dances have been announced. Former Love Island winner Dani Dyer and partner Nikita Kuzmin will perform the American smooth to It Had to Be You by Harry Connick Jr. Australian singer Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington will cha cha to Let's Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez, while EastEnders star Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola will perform a rumba to Yellow by Coldplay.
Olympian Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita will dance the paso doble to Supermassive Black Hole by Muse, and Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly trainer Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley will perform their couple's choice to The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. Love Island's Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby will waltz to That Ain't You by Mulaa Joans, while House of the Dragon star Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu will dance the foxtrot to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis.
Social media personality John Nellis and Katya Jones will perform the salsa to Get Lucky by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell and Nile Rodgers. Finishing off this week's dances are Big Brother presenter Will Best and Dianne Buswell, who will perform a quickstep to This Love by Maroon 5.
Injury Bye and Elimination Odds
The show will be one couple short this weekend, as it was announced this week that actress Jaime Winstone is injured and has received a bye through to next week, where it is hoped she and Carlos Gu will be able to dance again. Doctors advised her to rest after she suffered a torn abdominal muscle.
With Jaime missing through injury, Dani is now second favourite to leave the show this weekend at 11/2, with Bethany now odds-on to be the next star eliminated after having her price cut from 5/4 into 4/7. Lacey remains favourite to win the show, but has slightly drifted out to 11/8 from 5/4.
Betfred's Robert Ford said: "Jamie Winstone missing this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing through injury has put Dani Dyer at a big threat of elimination as she's now the second favourite to exit the show this weekend."
"House of Dragon's Bethany Antonia remains the market leader to leave this weekend and since Winstone's injury was confirmed she's now odds-on at 4/7 to be eliminated next after having her odds slashed from 5/4. Will Best and Cach Mercer's odds have also taken a major blow as they've had their prices cut into 6/1 and 7/1 from 10/1 and 12/1, respectively."
"Lacey Turner continues to lead the way in the winner's market after coming into 5/4 earlier in the week before being pushed out into her new price of 11/8 yesterday. Winter Olympian Tabby Stoecker is the second best bet to win the show at 7/4, despite being the market leader last week."
Remembrance Sunday Tribute
As the results show falls on Remembrance Sunday on November 8, the programme will commemorate the occasion with a themed dance inspired by the monument to the women of World War Two, paying tribute to the women whose lives were upended by the Second World War.
Set to Peter Gabriel's "Set to Heroes," the routine will take viewers back to the 1940s with a period set and old-fashioned outfits, with the men dressed as soldiers while the women showcase pre-war glamour and later practical styles shaped by increased workforce participation. Choreographed by Lizzie Gough, the dance will open with British soldiers leaving for war before focusing on the lives of women during the conflict.
Sunday's show will also feature music from US singer-songwriter Gregory Porter, accompanied by a routine from some of the Strictly professionals, while two couples will face the dance-off, with one being eliminated. Strictly's live show will air on Saturday at 6.40pm and the results show will air on Sunday at 7.10pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
