Strictly: Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal exit after triple dance-off
Strictly: Robb and Przystal eliminated in triple dance-off

Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb and his professional partner Jowita Przystal have been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after the show's first triple dance-off. The pair failed to win enough support from the judges to remain in the BBC contest.

Triple dance-off battle

Robb and Przystal faced actress Jaime Winstone with Carlos Gu, and House Of The Dragon star Bethany Antonia with Nancy Xu. All three couples were at risk after receiving the lowest combined scores from the judges and public votes.

Each couple repeated their Halloween week performances. Winstone and Gu danced their salsa to Filthy/Gorgeous by the Scissor Sisters, Antonia and Xu performed their jive to I'm In Love With A Monster by Fifth Harmony, and Robb and Przystal reprised their tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.

Judges' votes

Instead of choosing which couple to save, the judges were required to vote for the couple they wished to eliminate. Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood all voted against Robb and Przystal, making them the fifth couple to leave the competition.

As the majority was already reached, Motsi Mabuse was not required to cast her vote, though she confirmed she would have voted to eliminate them regardless. Strictly will revert to a two-couple dance-off for the rest of the series.

Results show highlights

The results show featured a performance from Becky Hill and a surprise cameo from actor Sir Ian McKellen, who provided his voice for the professional dancers' Halloween-themed routine. The dance, recorded earlier this year, was performed to Tame Impala's Dracula and showed Alexis Warr and Nikita Kuzmin on an initial date before revealing Kuzmin as a vampire, with the other professionals joining in.

Sir Ian read an extract from Bram Stoker's horror novel at the routine's climax. The remaining ten couples will dance again next Saturday November 7 at 6.30pm on BBC One, with all episodes of the 2026 series available on BBC iPlayer.
