Strictly Halloween Week: Start Time, Dances and Triple Dance-Off Twist
Strictly Halloween Week: Start Time, Dances and Twist

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC screens on Saturday, October 31, for its Halloween Week special, with the remaining couples performing spooky routines in the haunted ballroom. The show will begin at 6.30pm and run for two hours, finishing at 8.30pm, before voting opens ahead of the next elimination.

Halloween Week Triple Dance-Off Twist

The results show will air at 7.10pm on Sunday, November 1, lasting 50 minutes, and will feature a huge twist. For the first time in Strictly history, the Halloween results show will include a triple dance-off.

The three couples with the lowest combined scores from the judges and public votes will go head-to-head, before the judges have their say. Instead of voting for who they want to save, each judge will reveal which couple they want to be eliminated.

Professional Group Routine to Dracula

The professionals will also perform a Halloween group routine to Dracula by Tame Impala. The routine will open at a drive-in movie theatre where Alexis Warr and Nikita Kuzmin are on a first date, before it takes a terrifying turn when it is revealed that Nikita is a vampire.

The dance will feature a vocal cameo from Sir Ian McKellen, who has specially recorded an extract from Bram Stoker's Dracula to be heard at the end of the routine.

Songs and Dances for the Remaining Couples

The songs and dances for this weekend were revealed throughout the week on Strictly: It Takes Two, with the final numbers unveiled on Thursday, October 29. The full list of what the stars will be dancing to is as follows:

Last week, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr became the fourth couple to bid farewell to the ballroom after losing to Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu in the dance-off. Their departure came after the exits of Chris Appleton, Melanie Walters and Sarah Storey. The couples will hope to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke, with the show available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
