Strictly Come Dancing fans reacted with relief as the latest elimination was leaked, claiming it was the right choice. However, judge Shirley Ballas came in for harsh criticism after opting to vote to save the axed star.
The result was posted on the Strictly Spoiler website following the filming of the results show, which will air on BBC One on Sunday October 25 at 7.10pm. The result is broadcast on Sunday nights but is pre-recorded the day before, following the live episode.
Fans Accuse Head Judge of Bias
While Express.co.uk has chosen not to reveal who goes home, fans on X made their feelings clear as they sneaked a peak at the result. The spoiler indicated a male and female celebrity were in the dance off, with three of the judges opting to save the woman while Shirley voted to keep the man in the competition.
Furious fans who sneaked a peak at the results took to X to vent, accusing the head judge of bias over her decision.
One fumed: "The right result. Shirley clearly hates women. I'm only dreading her appearance on DWTS, I just know that [she] is gonna over score the men and be harsh on the women."
Another added: "For the record idc if he 'improved' or if she made a mistake, there's no way he danced better than her, mistakes or no mistakes."
Leaderboard Highlights
A third raged: "Shirley has made some choices as a judge but I think this takes the cake for most bizarre…"
A fourth opined: "...That's just madness . Stevie wonder could see who was the better dancer out of the two of them. I wonder were Shirley's head is at sometimes . Think she lives in la la land."
A fifth said: "Shirley is as always biased...doesn't like women always for the men....she doesn't even hide it." Meanwhile, a sixth commented: "I'm a Shirley fan but come on this is clear bias now."
At the end of the Saturday night live show, Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita topped the leaderboard with a score of 37 for their Couple's Choice to Stupid Song by Olivia Rodrigo. Along with Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington, they also secured the first 10s of the series from the judges.
Delta and Kai made a fantastic comeback following a week off due to her rib injury and scored 34 for their Rumba to It's All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion.
At the other end of the leaderboard, Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb and his pro partner Jowita Przystał garnered 19 points for their Jive to Fatboy Slim's The Rockafeller Skank. Also coming a cropper with the Jive and at the bottom of the leaderboard were footballer turned pundit Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr, who were awarded 17 points by the judges after dancing to Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande's hit Faith.
