Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix has revealed she is trying to stay on good terms with judge Shirley Ballas in a bid to secure one of the show's vacant presenting roles. The RuPaul's Drag Race UK star, who competed in the 2025 series, made the comments during an appearance on ITV's This Morning on Wednesday, January 14.
Long-serving hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepped down at the end of the last series, leaving two openings. La Voix confirmed her interest, saying: 'I would [take the job]. And that's why I'm keeping in with Shirley, because I think she might be quite influential with the choice of voting.'
During the interview, La Voix presented host Cat Deeley with a signed copy of Shirley Ballas's book, joking that it was now worth more money. She was on the programme alongside fellow Strictly 2025 stars Vicky Pattison and George Clarke.
Since Tess and Claudia announced their departure in October, several names have been linked to the hosting role, including Alex Jones, Kevin Clifton, Christine Lampard, and Rob Rinder. The BBC has yet to confirm replacements.
