Jack Ryan Returns, Duffer Brothers Tackle Retirement Monsters in This Week's Streaming Guide

John Krasinski is back as Jack Ryan in “Jack Ryan: Ghost War,” premiering Wednesday on Prime Video. The film marks the sixth instalment and third reboot of the Tom Clancy spy franchise, with series regulars Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly and Betty Gabriel also returning.

Netflix’s “Ladies First” (Friday, May 22) stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike in a gender satire about a chauvinist who wakes in a female-dominated parallel world. Co-stars include Charles Dance, Emily Mortimer and Richard E. Grant.

Animated feature “Arco” arrives Friday on Hulu. The French time-travel fantasy follows a boy from 2932 who accidentally visits 2075, befriending a girl in a world of robot parenting and climate disaster. The AP praised it as a “cartoony and dreamy parable” with an optimistic ending.

Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair” debuts Friday on Peacock, merging both volumes with a 7½-minute animated sequence. Also this week: “Forever Young: A Grammy Salute to Rod Stewart Live” airs Tuesday on CBS, with streaming on Paramount+.
