Douglas Henshall, best known for his role as Jimmy Perez in the BBC series Shetland, has swapped the Scottish islands for a sun-drenched thriller on Netflix. The actor stars in Who is Erin Carter?, a seven-part action series that has been described as 'addictive' and 'perfect for a fun binge-watch' by viewers.
The show follows Erin Carter (played by Evin Ahmad), a British supply teacher living in Spain with her husband and young daughter. Her life is thrown into chaos when she becomes involved in a supermarket robbery, and the criminals claim to recognise her. As the story unfolds, the truth about her identity is gradually revealed.
Alongside Henshall, the cast includes Sean Teale (Doctor Odyssey, The Gold), Denise Gough (Andor), Susannah Fielding (This Time with Alan Partridge), and Charlotte Vega (The Castaways).
