One review described it as 'a debauched jolt to the senses,' while Susan Granger of SSG Syndicate called it an 'exasperatingly toxic psychosexual drama.' Robert Levin praised it as 'a weird, intense movie that has the courage of its convictions.'
Barry Keoghan's performance has been widely praised. Jaylan Salah of InSession Film noted: 'Barry Keoghan steals the scenes.
