Prince William is set to appear on Graham Norton's chat show, airing at 10:40pm on Friday 23, marking his debut on the programme. The Prince of Wales will discuss his love of Aston Villa and films by director Christopher Nolan, as well as the Earthshot Prize, which he founded in 2020. Much of the conversation focuses on his flagship environmental initiative and its mission to tackle climate change.
A History of Royal TV Appearances
The Royal Family have made several notable television appearances over the years, from cameos in soaps to guest spots on chat shows. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, joined James Corden on The Late Late Show for a double-decker bus tour of Los Angeles, where he rapped the theme song from The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. After Corden told him to pay the fare before boarding the bus, Harry quipped, "you know us royals, we don't carry cash".
In 2023, Prince Harry also appeared as a guest on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a comedy-variety-talk show broadcast four nights a week from the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York.
Kate's This Morning Appearance
Princess Catherine joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning in May 2020. The princess discussed a photography project called Hold Still, an exhibition that collated photographs to pay tribute to essential workers and spread joy amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The episode of the Graham Norton Show featuring Prince William, alongside Cate Blanchett, Hannah Waddingham and Robert Irwin, airs on BBC One on Friday evening.
