Return to Paradise, the BBC crime drama spin-off from Death in Paradise, will return for its third season on Friday, November 6, airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The confirmation came during a segment on Morning Live, where host OJ Borg discussed the show and revealed the broadcast date.
The series follows DI Mackenzie Clarke, played by Anna Samson, who returns to her hometown of Dolphin Cove in Australia after leaving her life in London. The second series concluded at the end of 2025, and fans have been awaiting news of what comes next for the character.
Morning Live reveals November return
During the Morning Live segment, OJ Borg described the show as "an updated version of Home and Away," noting the contrast between the sunny setting and the crime element. He explained that the series sees DI Mackenzie Clarke "returning to her hometown down under" and noted she is "the first female DI in the Death in Paradise series or the Death franchise."
Borg then made the announcement, saying: "We all love an exclusive, we can exclusively reveal that Return to Paradise is back on our screens from Friday, November 6, on BBC iPlayer and BBC One."

She reluctantly joins the squad at Dolphin Cove Police Station and gradually earns the respect of her colleagues.
