Netflix viewers binge His & Hers thriller with 'sick twist'

Netflix's six-part psychological thriller His & Hers, based on Alice Feeney's novel of the same name, has viewers binge-watching and praising its surprise ending, with one calling it a "sick twist."

The series follows two ex-spouses whose lives come together once more amid a string of murders. Netflix's description reads: "Two estranged spouses — one a detective, the other a news reporter — vie to solve a murder in which each believes the other is a prime suspect."

Viewers praise the twist and acting

Many viewers have binge-watched the series and did not see the ending coming. One said: "Sick twist!! Wow, personally and honestly for me, the ending boosted my ratings for this series."

Another added: "This came out and I bookmarked it to watch in the future. Today, I said, let me give it one episode, mainly because I like a handful of the actors. Well, one episode led to another, and another."

Someone else commented on IMDb: "His & Hers has that old-school mystery vibe I haven't seen in a long time, where everyone is a suspect, and everyone has a motive. It's beautiful-the clues were all there, yet the ending is still a complete surprise. It's so good to see Netflix bringing back this kind of storytelling."

Plot and where to watch

The series is based on the thriller novel of the same name by Alice Feeney. IMDb added: "A journalist investigating a murder in her hometown clashes with a suspicious detective. There are two sides to every story, and someone is lying."

His & Hers is a Netflix exclusive series, so a subscription to the streaming site is required to watch it. A Netflix subscription starts at £7.99 a month.
