Andy Murray and his wife Kim are set to feature in a new Channel 4 documentary series, charting the transformation of Cromlix, their upmarket hotel in Scotland.
The three-time Major winner purchased the hotel, situated near his hometown of Dunblane, back in 2013.
Documenting a Major Renovation
Since hanging up his racket following his retirement from professional tennis in 2024, Murray and Kim have been working tirelessly on the property, and the new three-part series offers a year-long insight into Cromlix's latest overhaul, including a new wing housing two restaurants.
The announcement of the docuseries follows the recognition of one of their restaurants, Cradle at Cromlix, in the prestigious Michelin Guide.
Behind the Scenes at Cromlix
Our Scottish Hotel, arriving on Channel 4 in December, will grant viewers exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the couple and their team as they navigate the renovations, described as "the biggest financial gamble" Murray and Kim have undertaken since acquiring the hotel over a decade ago.
"The last couple of years have been really full of change at Cromlix with a huge building project and a totally new direction for fine dining and wellness, and I was really keen to document that as there were so many personal stories and interesting discoveries along the way," Kim said of the forthcoming series.
"Andy and I haven't worked on anything together before, so that was a fascinating process - and a learning curve! I've loved shaping this building and estate into what's now become a really thriving and much-loved Scottish business. I hope people enjoy watching the show and meeting the team behind the hotel."
The Team Behind the Transformation
Our Scottish Hotel chronicles the staff at Cromlix as they strive to maintain their hospitality standards while construction work takes place across the estate. The documentary also tracks Murray and Kim as they return following the hotel's five-month shutdown, to discover whether their gamble has succeeded.
Emily Shields, the Commissioning Editor for Channel 4, said: "Cromlix is a fascinating world to step inside, and this series offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes of a business where no detail is overlooked.
"Kim and Andy are embarking on an ambitious transformation, but at its heart this is a story about people: the team whose hard work brings Cromlix to life, and the shared desire to create something truly special. We're delighted to be bringing viewers this warm, intimate and revealing look at life behind the doors of one of Scotland's most distinctive hotels."
The series comprises three one-hour episodes, produced by Rogan Scotland for Channel 4. James Rogan, co-CEO of Rogan Scotland, said: "It's been such a privilege for Rogan Scotland to be invited into Cromlix at this pivotal time. What fascinated us was not simply the scale of the transformation, but how personal every decision became.
"From the food on the plate and the David Shrigley works on the walls to the search for water beneath the estate, the series captures Kim and Andy's contrasting instincts, ambitions and sense of humour."
Cromlix is also the story of an extraordinary team, responding to each new challenge with ingenuity, pride and a determination to make every guest feel that nothing unusual is happening at all.
