Camila Morrone Joins 'The Night Manager' Season 2 as Major New Character

Emmy-nominated actress Camila Morrone, known for her role in 'Daisy Jones & the Six', has been cast in a major role for the upcoming second season of 'The Night Manager'. The BBC adaptation of John le Carré's novel will see Morrone join returning star Tom Hiddleston, with Elizabeth Debicki unlikely to reprise her role as Jed.

Morrone, who earned an Emmy nomination for her performance in Amazon's 'Daisy Jones & the Six', will play a significant part in the new series. Her other credits include 'Marmalade', 'Gonzo Girl', and 'Death Wish'. The casting was first reported by The Sun.

The second season, co-produced by Amazon, will begin filming later this year. It picks up eight years after the explosive finale of Season 1, with Hiddleston's Jonathan Pine at the centre of a story that extends beyond le Carré's original 1993 book. Plot details remain under wraps, and it is unclear whether Hugh Laurie's character Richard Roper will return.
