Lytham Festival, the North West's premier beachside music event, returns for its 15th anniversary from Wednesday July 1 to Sunday July 5, 2026, with a star-studded lineup including headliners Teddy Swims, Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Pet Shop Boys, and Pitbull. More than 100,000 attendees are expected to gather on Lytham Green, a strip of land on the Ribble Estuary, just a stone's throw from Lytham St Annes Beach.
Headliners and Special Guests
The festival kicks off on July 1 with Teddy Swims headlining, supported by breakout vocalist Lauren Spencer Smith and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei. Thursday features seven-time GRAMMY Award winner Alanis Morissette, with support from Skunk Anansie, indie-pop band Pale Waves, and Mercury-nominated The Big Moon. Friday sees multi-award-winning singer Michael Bublé joined by Ronan Keating, pop duo Appleton, and Lancashire's own DJ Graham Liver.
Saturday's headliner is Pet Shop Boys, with Chris Lowe—originally from Blackpool—taking the stage, supported by iconic glam-pop band Scissor Sisters and legendary Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce. The festival concludes on Sunday with global superstar Pitbull, the first rap headliner in the event's history, joined by rapper and producer Lil Jon, with Cuban-American rapper DJ Laz opening the show.
History and Growth
Lytham Festival was launched in 2010 as a one-day Lytham Proms concert by friends and business partners Daniel Cuffe and Peter Taylor. It has since grown into a five-day event attracting around 100,000 people annually, making it one of the UK's largest live music festivals. Past headliners include Kylie, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Sting, Shania Twain, Stereophonics, Faithless, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Courteeners, and The Strokes.
Tickets and Attendance
Nearly all tickets have sold out, but a limited number remain available at lythamfestival.com. Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: "What a party we have planned for our 15th anniversary year. We have five huge headliners on the bill this year and alongside them we have a brilliant raft of special guests and support artists. Every year we try to mix things up, to surprise our audience and to bring the biggest and the best of the current touring market. I think it's safe to say we have done that for 2026 and I can't wait to once again throw open the gates and welcome everyone to The Green."
