A fan who attended the live Love Island final has detailed the experience online, including encounters with the show's stars. The fan posted on the Love Island UK subreddit after returning from Majorca, where they attended both the Love Island Aftersun and the Series 13 finale tapings.
How to Get Tickets
The fan explained that guests were instructed to gather at a specific bar in Magaluf. From there, they were taken by coach to a restaurant en route to the villa. Tickets were obtained by searching 'Love Island Finale tickets' online, where an application form was found. The fan entered basic details and was approved within minutes, though they were baffled about how or why they were chosen. Producers revealed that up to half a million people had supposedly applied to attend.
Attendees were responsible for their own flights and lodging, but transport from the meeting point to the villa was complimentary. The fan warned that taxis in Majorca are expensive and buses aren't viable at 2am, advising future attendees to stay close to the meet-up point.
Inside the Villa: Rules and Atmosphere
All public audience members had to surrender their phones before entering the villa, explaining why no unofficial photos emerged. This also meant they could not vote in the final. During filming, audience members were 'encouraged' to make noise—cheering, laughing, or booing—though it was described as exaggerated rather than inauthentic. Despite Maya Jama's joke that the Islanders were 'drinking the bar dry,' no alcohol was available at the villa. Smoking and vaping were also prohibited.
Islanders' Behavior
When asked about specific Islanders, the fan reported that Lorenzo and Julia were the most interactive with the audience. Julia danced and waved, sparking cheers. Angelista made hand hearts, while Jasmine and Kavan mostly kept to themselves, talking among themselves during makeup and photo breaks. Ope and Aidan were described as class clowns. The fan also noted that Maya Jama appeared stressed when Priya over-explained on Aftersun, and felt sorry when no one clapped for Lola after Yasmin called her her best friend in the villa.
