Love Island 2026 Villa Gets Major Makeover with More Beds, Designer Goods and New Hideaway

The Love Island villa in Majorca has undergone a significant revamp for the upcoming series, with producers adding more beds, designer goods, and a new Hideaway that requires no invite. The £2.5million estate now features a Miami-themed area with pastel hues around the swimming pool, designed to give an 'Instagrammable feel'.

Host Maya Jama, who gave a tour of the newly decorated set, noted the 'sassy' and 'seductive' new shades in the bathroom and Hideaway. The bedroom has been expanded by removing giant storage chests from the foot of each bed, providing more space for the contestants. Maya joked that the room felt so much larger that 'you could fart down one end and they wouldn’t hear it down the other'.

Producers have added extra beds in a spare room upstairs to give 'options' for bed swapping, and the Hideaway is now open without needing an invite, encouraging intimacy. However, this could lead to potential cheating if Islanders use it without being coupled up, a rule that is still being finalised.

The dressing room has also been made more spacious, reducing the oppressive feel of the intensely orange walls. Creative director Mike Spencer attributed the enhanced colour scheme to painting the decking blue outside, which makes the colours 'pop more than ever'.
