Love Island 2026 Final Expected on July 27 After Eight-Week Run

The 13th series of Love Island on ITV2 is approaching its halfway mark, with the finale expected in late July. Maya Jama revealed during the premiere that the show runs for eight weeks, starting June 1, suggesting a conclusion around July 27, a Monday. Last year's series ended on August 4, also a Monday.

Current Status of the Series

As of late June, 14 contestants are paired into seven couples, down from the original 12. Nine Islanders have been eliminated so far, either for being single, the least compatible, or voted out by fellow contestants after a public vote. One contestant, footballer George Knight, left early for personal reasons.

Twists and Challenges

The series has featured multiple bombshells, a sleepover twist, the Heartrate Challenge, and several dramatic departures. The final will likely be broadcast live with Maya Jama hosting, possibly with a live audience outside the villa, mirroring last year's format.
