Traitors star Leigh-Anne Pinnock ignored despite strong theories
Leigh-Anne Pinnock ignored despite strong Traitors theories

Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock is being underestimated as a Faithful on Celebrity Traitors, despite offering key theories that could help root out the Traitors before the season 2 finale.

In the latest episode of the BBC series, which ended with a cliffhanger, the players were deadlocked after two people received the same number of votes to be banished. A second vote was needed to decide whether actress Sharon Rooney or comedian Joanne McNally would be exiled from the castle.

At the roundtable, Leigh-Anne spoke at length about how the Faithfuls should approach the game, but her insights were largely ignored by the other players.

Leigh-Anne's roundtable theories

Leigh-Anne suggested the group should consider who might have been recruited after Hannah was banished, asking: “Do you think we need to look at, obviously Hannah being banished, after that there was a recruitment. Do you think we need to look at who we think might have been recruited after that loss?”

She added: “Did they recruit someone that’s going to fill Hannah’s boots or…”

James Blunt interjected: “Absolutely. So has anyone’s character or temperament changed, over the last… since then, I suppose, is the question.”

Leigh-Anne continued: “But also is it like, who do we think would fill those boots as well? Are they needing a leader? These are the kind of things we need to…”

When Traitor James Acaster asked who she suspected, she replied: “I mean, there’s different things, there’s different theories. I think it could either be someone that does lead the table and is very influential at the table. I think that would be the obvious replacement, but then they might want someone who is slightly more under the radar, knows the game really well, hasn’t got any suspicions.”

Ignored by the Faithfuls

Despite her reasoning, the other Faithfuls did not follow up on her points. Sebastian “Bash” Croft instead asked Michael why he hadn’t been recruited or murdered.

On her TikTok, Leigh-Anne posted a video with text reading: “Realising I’m actually a really strong faithful but everyone thinks I’m a traitor.” Her caption added: “So underestimated it hurts.”

Fans agreed, with one commenting: “You were clocking everyone at the table and nobody listened!!!” Another wrote: “They just grasping at straws at this point (no pun intended 😂).”

If the Faithfuls don’t take Leigh-Anne’s thinking into account, there is a strong chance the prize money will go to the Traitors. Celebrity Traitors returns on Thursday at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
