Katie Price is reportedly set to front a new Sky documentary investigating her ex-husband Lee Andrews, who has been accused of being a con artist. The show will reportedly also feature other people who claim to have fallen victim to Andrews's alleged lies.
Documentary Details
The documentary will come from Mindhouse, a production company co-owned by documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux. A source told The Sun: "This show examines the full story of Lee Andrews and the people he has affected."
"As with all Sky/Mindhouse documentaries this will be a 360 look at the story. It won't centre on a single contributor but will feature a range of voices to uncover the truth behind the headlines."
Background to the Split
Price's marriage to Andrews began in January and ended just a few weeks ago. She revealed the split in September, after Andrews had recently been released from Dubai's Al Awir prison.
During an interview on ITV's Good Morning Britain, Price said: "I love him… but who is he? I love the man I met. I can't take it. I was stupid to fall for him. It's really sad."
Allegations and Denials
Price said she discovered Andrews had only £2.22 in his cryptocurrency wallet, despite his claims of having millions. Andrews has maintained that he did have the funds and that Price was looking at the wrong account.
Price insisted Andrews never took any money from her, but said: "I feel like he scammed my heart and stole my trust that I had, and me defending a man constantly because he made me believe that, 'Kate, come on, you know I'm not like this.'"
She told the show she still loved Andrews but could no longer trust him. In a voicenote played on GMB, Andrews insisted "there's been no wool pulled over anyone's eyes" and that he was in "civil jail" and had not been convicted of any crimes. He has also denied being a con artist.
