Katherine Ryan hits out at Thomas Skinner's claim his affair is 'forgotten'

Katherine Ryan has criticised Strictly Come Dancing star Thomas Skinner for saying his affair has been 'forgotten' by him and his wife. Skinner, 34, married Sinéad Chambers in 2022 and revealed he had a 'two-week fling' shortly after their wedding. He claimed his wife forgave him and that the incident is now 'forgotten'.

However, comedian Ryan, 42, dismissed this notion on her podcast 'Telling Everybody Everything', calling it a 'false' and 'inflammatory' term. She argued that for Skinner, it may seem forgotten, but for his wife, it is not. Ryan shared a clip on Instagram, stating that women never forget infidelity.

Ryan also addressed the concept of 'celebrity infidelity', saying it happens in many regular families and that people should not be professionally cancelled for cheating. However, she noted extra intrigue when someone associated with a family show is involved.

Meanwhile, Amy-Lucy O'Rourke, 35, has come forward claiming Skinner lied about their fling, saying it was a full-blown affair conducted over months. She provided Ring doorbell footage showing Skinner shouting outside her house. O'Rourke alleged Skinner told her he was in a loveless relationship and called her the love of his life.

Skinner previously told The Sun that he confessed to his wife immediately after the fling and that they are now in a strong place. He advised others in similar situations to be honest and own up.
