Jeff Stelling Praises Princess and Junior Andre on TV Race

Jeff Stelling has shared his honest verdict on his Celebrity Race Across the World co-stars Princess and Junior Andre, describing them as "the nicest people in the world."

The children of Katie Price and Peter Andre appeared on The One Show on Wednesday (October 28) night alongside presenter Jeff Stelling and his son Matt to discuss their experience tackling a 7,500km journey from Kuching in Malaysia to Melbourne, Australia.

Two Pairs Competing in the New Series

The two pairs are set to compete against pop star Ella Eyre and childhood friend Nana, and singer-songwriter Sam Ryder with his close friend and tour manager Kaz, to make it to the finish line first when the new BBC series kicks off tonight.

A synopsis for the latest episodes reads: "Setting off from the vibrant city of Kuching, in the Malaysian state of Sarawak in North West Borneo, and the gateway to the island's vast wilderness, these pairs will tackle the most formidable race yet." It adds: "Traversing prehistoric jungles and the heartlands of Borneo, to reach five check points across three countries and two continents, ultimately aiming for the sunbaked southern tip of Australia and the finish line in Melbourne."

Andre Siblings Aim to Step Out of Parents' Shadow

During their chat, Jeff told the presenters that Princess and Junior "are the nicest people in the world," with Clara revealing that she could "feel the love" between the group.

Princess and Junior previously shared that they are keen to step out of their parents' shadow. Princess said: "Everything we do, we get compared to our parents but we actually have our own thing that we do." Junior added: "We've kind of got a lot to prove. I'm so excited for this. I cannot wait to do this, we're going to win."

Princess, 19, is a social media influencer and model who has fronted her own ITV reality series, The Princess Diaries, since 2025. Junior, 21, has followed his father into a singing career.

Previous Winners Roman and Harleymoon Kemp

The One Show presenter Roman Kemp and his sister Harleymoon won the 2025 series of Celebrity Race Across the World. They were the first to make it to the remote Península de La Guajira in Colombia.

After a nail-biting 4x4 journey, boat ride and a foot race up a cliffside, the siblings opened the guest book to discover they had reached the final checkpoint in first place. In complete disbelief, Roman said at the time: "We did it," with Harleymoon saying: "I don't understand that we've come first, let's write our names before they get here to make sure it's true."

Reflecting on their victory, which saw them race 5,900 km across the Caribbean and Pacific coast of Central America, Harleymoon said: "I'm so overwhelmed, I don't know whether to be sick, to celebrate – I feel in shock."

The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, and Celebrity Race Across the World begins Wednesday, October 28 at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
