ITV Unveils Trailer for Gemma Arterton's Espionage Thriller 'Secret Service'

ITV has released the first trailer for its upcoming espionage thriller series 'Secret Service', starring British actress Gemma Arterton. Based on Tom Bradby's bestselling novel, the series explores escalating tensions between Russia and the UK, delving into allegations of Russian interference in British politics.

The drama follows senior MI6 officer Kate Henderson, played by Arterton, who heads the Russia Desk at the Secret Intelligence Service. When her operations uncover evidence that a high-ranking UK politician may be a Russian asset, Kate races to identify the mole while balancing family life and protecting her reputation.

The trailer shows Kate orchestrating an operation against the Chief of Russian Intelligence. She warns that a minister running for leadership may have been bribed, stating: 'If a minister running for leadership has been bribed, we'd be catastrophically exposed.' Despite a colleague's warning of a potential trap, Kate insists: 'It's a chance I'll have to take.'
