ITV has officially confirmed the launch date for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! 2026. The popular programme is returning to screens for its 26th series, presented by Ant and Dec.
Last year witnessed Angryginge crowned King of The Jungle, triumphing over celebrities including Aitch and Lisa Riley. The broadcaster has now revealed that the new series will commence later this month with a fresh group of well-known personalities entering the jungle.
Return Date and Presenters
The new series will begin on Monday 16th November at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player. Ant and Dec will return to present all the major developments live each evening from Australia.
Companion programme I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked will also return live on ITV2 and ITVX, presented by Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers, reports the Daily Star.
Rumoured 2026 Line-up
Speculation surrounding the 2026 line-up has been mounting for several weeks. He will be accompanied by numerous recognisable personalities, including Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney, who recently concluded her three-year run portraying Cassie Plummer.
Gavin and Stacey favourite Joanna Page is also reportedly travelling Down Under. The 49-year-old, renowned for her role as Stacey Shipman, is understood to be enthusiastic about participating and aspires to make her four children proud.
Wayne Rooney is another rumoured 2026 contestant. Should he enter the jungle, he would be following in the footsteps of his wife Coleen, who secured runner-up position in 2024. Sources suggest he's eager to undergo the jungle challenge and make his four sons proud. An insider told The Sun on Sunday: "Coleen proved to be hugely popular when she took part two years ago and bosses think Wayne is going to match her success."
Historic Firsts and Confirmed Names
Meanwhile, Paralympian Ade Adepitan is set to make history as the first participant to use a wheelchair. The 53-year-old lost the use of his left leg after contracting polio as a baby, and producers are reportedly exploring ways to modify the camp to suit his needs.
The jungle will also feature Victoria's Secret model Leomie Anderson, who previously took part in Netflix's Celebrity Bear Hunt. She became the first person voted out of that programme, but ITV executives are said to be confident she possesses the qualities needed to thrive in the jungle.
Love Islander Chloe Burrows, 30, is another confirmed name, alongside YouTuber Sharky, whose real name is Sharmarke Mohamud. Sources believe his substantial online fanbase could draw in younger audiences.
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! starts Monday 16th November at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX & STV Player.
