Delta Goodrem is set to appear on an episode of The Voice UK on Saturday - at the very same time she should have been competing on Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Eurovision star, 41, managed to top the leader board last weekend with professional partner Kai Widdrington with their Salsa, but it quickly emerged that she had done the show in "absolute agony" and on the Sunday, she went to hospital with a rib injury.
Delta has been given a bye week and it remains to be seen whether she will return to the competition after that, but fans of the star, who shot to fame when she was cast on Australian soap Neighbours and then achieved chart success with hits like Innocent Eyes, will be able to catch her on screen on Saturday night anyway.
Guest appearance on The Voice UK
The songstress will be making a guest appearance on ITV talent show The Voice UK, which was pre-recorded last year, helping coach Kelly Rowland out with her acts.
Outside the venue, Kelly Rowland will be seen addressing her team: "I am so happy we are here at the Battles! You're all going to perform in pairs with songs I have personally chosen for you. Once you've all performed, I will only be able to take three of you through to the semi-final.
"In each pair one of you could go through, both of you could go through, or neither of you could go through. This is not just a battle between you and your partner, it's a battle between you and the whole team."
"So because this is such a huge challenge, I have brought someone who is music industry savvy, a brilliant musician and a very dear friend of mine. And I know she too has been in this position on The Voice. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... Miss Delta Goodrem!"
Delta's message to Team Kelly
Delta steps out of a sleek black car in a burgundy outfit and greets Team Kelly to huge applause.
She tells the acts: "I am so honoured and so excited to be a part of Team Kelly today - let's go! Not only have we worked together on The Voice Australia, but we share together very high standards. We are expecting the best."
"We know how much effort and love we put into our craft as artists, so we expect that from the team, and I'm excited to see them really turn up and say 'this is who I am' today."
Inside, before the first Battle begins, Delta says to Kelly: "I can't wait to see your team, but I can't believe you go from eight to three… That's going to be tough." "I mean that's why you're here," Kelly tells Delta who laughs.
During one pair's performance, Delta and Kelly stand up and dance, twirling under each other's arms and holding hands as they step and tap along to the music.
At the end of another performance, Delta gives the performers a standing ovation and exclaims: "Oh my god, what just happened just then? Are you two kidding me? The Voice UK is where it's at!"
Recovery from injury
In real time, Delta recently revealed she had broken her rib but is hoping to recover in time for next week and - following her doctor's order - has been getting rest at home.
Taking to social media, she wrote: "Just wanted to come on here and say a big Thank you to everyone who has sent messages and wrote lovely comments the last couple of days, I see them all.
"Not the start to the week I'd hoped for but your support has meant the world. Also special big thank you to my amazing dance partner @kaiwidd who I will miss dancing with this weekend but I am so beyond grateful for his guidance and friendship through it all.. as well as the wonderful Strictly team!!"
She added: "Resting and recovering at home and will be cheering everyone on from my couch on Saturday night xx." Delta had previously said she was "absolutely gutted" to be out the show for the week, and hoped she'd be back the following week.
The Voice UK continues Saturday at 8.35pm on ITV1 & ITVX.
