Actress and comedian Ingrid Oliver has lifted the lid on her experience filming Richard Osman's hit BBC quiz show, House of Games, revealing some laugh-out-loud moments that didn't make it to air.
Oliver, best known for her role in Doctor Who, appeared on the daytime programme earlier this year and has now shared some hilarious behind-the-scenes stories with fans.
The Unexpected Challenge
"One round had us all in stitches," Oliver recalled. "We were supposed to be answering questions about famous duos, but Richard kept making increasingly ridiculous suggestions that weren't even close to being correct."
The actress described how Osman's improvised wrong answers became funnier than the actual game, leaving contestants struggling to maintain their composure.

Oliver also revealed some contestant tactics viewers don't get to see: "There's a lot more strategy than people realise. We'd sometimes deliberately throw easier questions to keep certain players from running away with points."
She admitted this backfired spectacularly in one episode when her planned "generosity" resulted in an opponent's runaway victory.

"What surprised me most was how different Richard is off-camera," Oliver shared. "He's incredibly sharp and quick-witted between takes, but plays up this slightly bumbling persona when the cameras roll."
