Hollyoaks fans have reacted with excitement after the Channel 4 soap confirmed a one-off Halloween event, HorrorOaks, featuring villains Gemma Bissix and Tamara Wall. The immersive attraction will take place on Saturday, October 31, when Lime Pictures opens the doors to the village set for a special edition of its popular tour.
What to Expect at HorrorOaks
The event synopsis describes HorrorOaks as "an immersive, one-hour walkthrough horror attraction and guided storytelling event." The set and surrounding grounds will be transformed into a nightmare village with haunting thematic dressing, ambient low-light effects, heavy fog, and chilling soundscapes.
Expert tour guides will lead structured groups safely through the darkened sets, while roving live scare actors deliver jump scares throughout the route. The synopsis also hints that "legendary ex-cast members may rise from the dead for a surprise appearance."
Age Restrictions and Ticket Details
The event is designed for audiences aged 16 and up. Young people aged 14 and over are permitted if accompanied by an adult over 18, while nobody under 14 will be admitted. Proof of age may be requested, and event staff reserve the right to refuse entry if it is not provided.
Tickets are described as "extremely limited and will sell out fast." This is a one-off event for Halloween 2026.
Familiar Faces Return
Tamara Wall, whose character Grace Black met a tragic end last year, and Gemma Bissix, who returned from the dead as Clare Devine last year, will both take part. Clare was revealed as the leader behind the exploitation of local teens, claimed she had cancer, and teamed up with serial killer Jez Blake, played by Jeremy Sheffield, who drove a plane into the village during the show's 40th anniversary.
Teaser videos shared on Hollyoaks' official social media pages drew enthusiastic responses from fans. One comment read: "YAAASSSS! I been waiting for this @gbissix #claresback." Another fan wrote: "This is so cool," while a third said: "Wish I was brave enough."
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm, with first-look episodes streaming on Channel 4 from 7am. HorrorOaks tickets are available now.
