German supermodel Heidi Klum celebrated her 53rd birthday on Monday, sharing the date with Marilyn Monroe and Amy Schumer. The size-four star demonstrated her enduring fitness in a new Calzedonia bikini campaign for summer 2026.
Calzedonia Campaign Showcases Klum's Timeless Appeal
The 5ft9in runway veteran posed in skimpy string swimsuits on a Malibu beach. The brand described the campaign as 'a curated selection of key pieces that highlight the diversity of Calzedonia's current collection.' Art directed by Thomas Hayo and photographed by the Morelli Brothers, the images capture California's carefree lifestyle. 'Between poolside moments and endless skies, Klum appeared effortlessly confident, natural and glamorous,' the brand stated.
Klum Thrives in Television and Film
Klum continues to model and has returned to Project Runway for its 21st and 22nd seasons. She recently appeared in a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2, alongside Emily Blunt. Klum told People: 'I was in the first Devil Wears Prada movie... just the smallest little cameo. I was asked to come back again for the sequel and was so excited because they didn't cut me out. Sometimes you do these things and then you watch it and think, "Where the heck am I?" So I was super excited that I made the cut.'
The former Victoria's Secret Angel reflected on her luck in appearing in iconic shows and films: 'I did Desperate Housewives with Eva Longoria, Spin City with Michael J. Fox, How I Met Your Mother, Sex and the City, Ocean's Eight with Sandra Bullock... I was so lucky.'
Klum's Philosophy on Stepping Out of Her Comfort Zone
The mother of four admitted she is 'not an actress' but enjoys challenges. 'I think it's always important to be curious, to have goals and interests. I always dabbled into different things because of the interests I've had and also doing things that are not on my bingo card. I'm not an actress, but I got to dabble into many fun things. I'm always like, "Why not?"'
Anniversary of Trump's 'Not a 10' Comment
The campaign images were released on the 11-year anniversary of Donald Trump's remark that Klum was 'no longer a 10.' Klum responded humorously on Twitter with a video showing a man in a Trump mask tearing a '10' sign off her shirt to reveal '9.99,' using the hashtag #HeidiTrumpsTrump. She later gave a classy response: 'In my book, every woman is a 10.'
