Heartbeat actress Tricia Penrose has married her partner Chris Hargreaves at a ceremony in Lancashire, four years after her divorce from her first husband. The 56-year-old, best known for playing Gina Bellamy in the ITV drama, exchanged vows at Briars Hall Country Club near Ormskirk on Saturday.
Penrose shared photographs from the wedding on social media, writing: "Married the love of my life yesterday." She wore a fitted ballgown with a lace bodice and tulle A-line skirt, while Hargreaves opted for a light green suit. Well-wishers flooded the comments with congratulations, with one fan joking: "Did you say yes in a heartbeat?"
The actress was previously married to ITV presenter Mark Simpkin for 18 years. The couple, who share two sons, Jake, 22, and Freddy, 17, split in 2021. Penrose announced her relationship with Hargreaves later that year, and he proposed during a holiday in Tenerife in July 2025.
Penrose is best known for her role as Gina Bellamy on Heartbeat, appearing in more than 300 episodes and becoming the show's longest-serving female cast member. She also appeared in Emmerdale and Coronation Street, and was a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.
