Great British Bake Off 2025: Meet the Contestants for Season 16

The Great British Bake Off has been confirmed for a 2025 return on Channel 4, with a new batch of contestants vying for the title of Ultimate Star Baker. The show, hosted by Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond, has already begun airing its chocolate-themed week, with eight bakers remaining after weekly eliminations.

Among the contestants is Aaron, a passionate baker who fuses French patisserie with Caribbean flair and experiments with Asian flavours like miso and yuzu. Iain mixes his love of live music with sourdough, immortalising album cover art on his loaves, while Jasmine, a medical professional, uses fresh, seasonal ingredients for classic flavour combinations.

Lesley, a hairdresser of 45 years, has been baking since age ten, inspired by her grandmother and aunt. Nadia brings rustic charm inspired by her Italian chef dad, and Nataliia follows traditional recipes from her grandmother, infusing British bakes with honey, poppy seeds, and spices. Toby takes a healthy approach to baking, focusing on classic recipes and bread.
