Gordon Ramsay Opens 100th Restaurant in London with Sky-High Dining

Gordon Ramsay is set to open his 100th restaurant in London on May 6, located on the 59th floor of 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City of London. The new venue, part of his Bread Street Kitchen chain, offers panoramic views of the capital. A preview event was held for journalists, hosted by Ramsay himself.

The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows and pink glass chandeliers, with a chic, simple decor that allows the views to take centre stage. The bar area includes comfortable high-backed stools, and guests can watch staff prepare pastries, including a recommended double chocolate swirl priced at £5.50.

The breakfast menu includes a Full English breakfast for £19, which was described as underwhelming due to poor ingredient ratios, with too much mushroom and black pudding and too little hash brown and scrambled eggs. The sausage contained gristle, and toast was missing, though beans were served separately to prevent sogginess.

Other dishes were praised, such as the hot cake—a large pancake topped with berries and vanilla chantilly cream—and the lobster Benedict. The restaurant is expected to be a popular destination for its unique setting and views.
