The Malone family, known for their appearances on Channel 4's Gogglebox, have announced the death of their pet Rottweiler, Bob. The family shared the news on social media, with former cast member Tom Malone Jr posting a tribute: 'Good boy Bob….Rest easy big man.'
Bob was the latest in a line of Rottweilers that have featured on the show since the Malones joined in 2014. Previous dogs Lucy and Dave died in 2022 and 2023 respectively. The family's posts were met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow Gogglebox cast members, including Ellie Warner, who wrote: 'So sorry to hear about Bobby ❤️ run free over the rainbow bridge.'
The Malones have become fan favourites for their on-screen antics, often involving their dogs. In one memorable 2023 incident, Dave knocked dad Tom off the sofa while they were watching television. The family consists of parents Tom and Julie, and children Tom Jr, Shaun, Lee, and Vanessa, though only some appear on the show.
